Launch of Latvian Language Edition of “Film Art. An Introduction”

The National Film Centre and the EU programme Creative Europe MEDIA information desk have invested two years of work and European financing in producing a respectable, sizeable Latvian language edition of what is required-reading for all film aficionados – the book “Film Art. An Introduction”, by influential film scholars David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson. This important book will be available in public libraries, higher education institutions and other specialized learning facilities in Latvia.
