On Tuesday, January 7, Matīss Kaža, producer of the animation film "Flow", arrived to Riga, bringing with him the historic “Golden Globe Award”. The producer and the award were greeted at the airport by Dita Rietuma, head of the National Film Centre of Latvia and several Latvian media representatives.
It was already reported, that "Flow" by Gints Zilbalodis received the award as the “Best Motion Picture Animated”, becoming the first Latvian film to ever earn a Golden Globes nomination and also be awarded.
