Baltic Event Co-Production Market and Works in Progress
November 16-18, 2015, Tallinn
Entry deadline: August 1, 2015

Baltic Event, the largest co-production platform in Northern and Central Europe, highlights intriguing and challenging projects from the most professional producers and promising directing talents in the region. Among the nearly 300 guests, who have made Baltic Event a yearly meeting place, are representatives of established international sales and distribution companies, broadcasters, festivals, national, regional and international film funds as well as experienced producers.

Starting in 2015, we are proud to present the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award in the amount of 20 000 Euros for the best project on our Co-Production Market slate.

Baltic Event 2015 takes place on November 16-18, 2015, during Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, and will present a grand total of 50 projects across five categories that cover the whole European Union as well as the CIS countries, Georgia and Ukraine.

Baltic Event Co-Production Market provides a perfect opportunity to find financiers, co-producers and sales agents for your project during an intensive two and a half days of pre-arranged one-on-one meetings. 12 projects from Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Russia and Ukraine, plus a project from the Netherlands, our 2015 Focus Country, will be presented.

During a decade, BE Co-Production Market has helped realize films such as 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (Cristian Mungiu, Romania 2007), Little Robbers (Ivo Kalpenieks, Latvia/Austria 2009), The Temptation of St. Tony (Veiko Õunpuu, Estonia/Sweden/Finland 2009), Princess (Arto Halonen, Finland 2010), King of Devil’s Island (Marius Holst, Norway/France/Sweden/Poland 2010), Koko and The Ghosts (Daniel Kusan, Croatia 2011), In the Fog (Sergei Loznitsa, Ukraine/Russia/Germany/Latvia/Netherlands 2012), Mother, I Love You (Janis Nords, Latvia 2013), Blind Dates (Levan Koguashvili, Georgia 2013), Under Electric Clouds (Alexey German, Russia/Ukraine/Poland 2015), and many others.

Baltic Event Works in Progress programme showcases feature films in production or post-production looking for a sales agent or a festival for international premiere. Projects from the Baltics and Finland, as well as projects formerly presented at our Co-Production Market or B’EST EAVE, are welcome.
